Braille is a tactile writing system, using 6 raised dots, which allows you to write all languages, mathematics, music and to do layout.

For a braille letter the 6 dots are always arranged in the same way 
but they can represent a character or 2 lettres (
, …, 
,… ) or a contraction (
,…) or a punctuation mark (
,…) or be considered as an indicator (
, … 
, …).
In French, there is integral braille which consists of transcribing a text letter by letter and abbreviated braille which represents certain groups of letters and certain words with fewer braille letters. Abbreviated braille makes it possible to have a more concise text, faster to write and books that take up less space. English braille works this way, but the letter from a to z are the same.
While it is quite easy for a sighted person to learn braille and read it with the eyes, it is more difficult to read it with the fingers. This is why I decided to translate small books to practice.
I learned integral French braille which is close to Grade 1 in English: one-to-one transcription. I transcribe the English books letter by letter which means that my transcriptions are not the best, but since the aim is to develop the sense of touch, to help the brain to cure the body, this method is good in this context.
I introduced some contractions as I went along because I found that they provide an interesting variation to see the interaction with the brain.
You will find on this page all the books that I have transcribed. I can send you a copy for free, as sending mail in braille is free even for foreign country.

Some tips for learning and reading braille more easily.
Do not learn letters visually. The 6 dots have a predefined number 
. You have to memorize the dots of the letters.

For the letters, the top 4 dots (1-2-4-5) form 10 possibilities and the bottom 2 dots (3-6) determine a decade, i.e. 3 decades for the 26 letters and 5 wordsigns: and, for, of, the, with which can be words or contractions, see booklet braille: wordsigns + by to.
There are 2 ways to understand their codes:
For the numbers, the numeric indicator (3-4-5-6) and the numbers (first decade). The indicator is only put at the beginning, it is active until a space, the caps (6) or letter (5-6) indicator. Dot 3 as thousands separator, dot 2 as decimal separator.

For punctuation -5th decade, this is the first decade taken down a notch. Not all characters are punctuation, there are also en and in, which are Initial-Medial-Terminal Groupsigns ; in is also used as wordsign, see booklet braille: end of letters. No space between a word and the punctuation mark but a space between the sign and the following word.

For the rest, you need to learn. I don’t use contractions, except by, to.
Space is represented by the 6 empty dots. It is very important for reading. And, for, of, the with, to, by, in, into contractions should be written unspaced from a word which follows, even when a sense break or natural pause is present.
Don’t read with your eyes closed to imitate a blind person. This adds stress to the brain which will have difficulty memorizing the code, will get tired and lose concentration.
You must open your eyes and look in front of you without paying attention to what you see but “pay attention to the sight under your fingers”. This is the picture. You have to really concentrate on the feeling of your fingers in order to feel each dot and the spaces.
For alphabet books, there is only one word, you read it from left to right with the pulp of the index finger of the hand you want. There is always one hand better than the other, but both work. Reading braille is ambidextrous. The letters of the alphabet book are also in relief so you can feel them.
For stories, the text is a whole line, the two hands read the line: the left reads to the left and the right to the right, we change hands halfway through. At the beginning we place the left index finger on the first braille letter on the left, the right little finger on the last letter and the right index finger on the middle letter. The left travels the beginning until meeting the right index which continues and the left index goes down one line, it positions itself at the start of the next and when the right has finished, it joins the left in the middle of the next line and the left begins reading until they meet. And so on.

Here are the contractions I introduced to provide an interesting variation of brain interaction.
Le braille est un système d’écriture tactile, à l’aide de 6 points en relief, qui permet d’écrire toutes les langues, les mathématiques, la musique et faire de la mise en page.

Pour une lettre braille les 6 points sont toujours disposés de la même manière mais ils peuvent représenter un caractère (
, …, 
,… ) ou un signe de ponctuation( 
,…) ou être considéré comme un indicateur (

, …).
En français, il existe le braille intégral qui consiste à transcrire lettre par lettre un texte et le braille abrégé qui représente certains groupes de lettres et certains mots par moins de lettre braille. Le braille abrégé permet d’avoir un texte plus concis, plus rapide à écrire et des livres qui prennent moins de place. Le braille anglais fonctionne de cette façon, mais les lettres de a à z sont les mêmes.
S’il est assez facile pour une personne voyante d’apprendre le braille et de le lire avec les yeux, il est plus difficile de le lire avec les doigts. C’est pourquoi j’ai décidé de traduire des petits livres pour m’entrainer.

Quelques conseils pour apprendre et lire le braille plus facilement.
Ne pas apprendre visuellement les lettres. Les 6 points ont un numéro prédéfinis . Il faut mémoriser les points des lettres.

Pour les lettres, les 4 points du haut (1-2-4-5) forment 10 possibilités et les 2 points du bas (3-6) déterminent une série, soit 4 séries pour les 26 lettres et les accents.
Il y a 2 façons pour appréhender leurs codes :
Pour les nombres, l’indicateur numérique 6 et les chiffres (série 4 et le 0 dans la série 8). L’indicateur est mis au début, il porte sur toute la chaîne jusqu’à l’espace ou l’indicateur de valeur de base (5-6). Le point 3 est le séparateur de milliers et le point 2 la virgule. Il n’y a pas d’indicateur numérique pour les chiffres en exposant.

Pour la ponctuation, c’est la première série descendue d’un cran. Pas d’espace entre un mot et le signe de ponctuation mais un espace entre le signe et le mot suivant.

Pour le reste, il faut apprendre. Il y a des caractères que je n’utilise pas.
L’espace est représenté par les 6 points vides. Il est très important pour la lecture.
Ne pas lire les yeux fermés pour imiter un aveugle. Cela rajoute une contrainte au cerveau qui va avoir du mal à mémoriser le code, va se fatiguer et décrocher.
Il faut ouvrir les yeux et regarder devant soi sans porter attention à ce que l’on voit mais « porter l’attention de la vue sous ses doigts ». C’est l’image. Il faut se concentrer sur le ressenti de ses doigts afin de sentir chaque point et les espaces.
Pour les abécédaires, il n’y a qu’un mot, vous le lisez de gauche à droite avec la pulpe de l’index de la main que vous voulez. Il y a toujours une main meilleure que l’autre, mais les 2 fonctionnent. C’est ambidextre la lecture du braille. Les lettres de l’abécédaire sont également en relief afin de les ressentir.
Pour les histoires, le texte fait une ligne entière, les 2 mains lisent la ligne : la gauche lit à gauche et la droite à droite, on change de main à la moitié. Au début on met l’index gauche sur la première lettre braille de gauche, l’auriculaire droite sur la dernière lettre et l’index droit sur la lettre du milieu. La gauche parcours le début jusqu’à rencontrer l’index droit qui continue et l’index gauche descend d’une ligne, il se positionne au début de la suivante et quand la droite a finit, elle rejoint la gauche sur le milieu de la ligne suivante et la gauche commence la lecture jusqu’à leur rencontre. Et ainsi de suite.

In 1791, Mozart created the Magic Flute « Die Zauberflöte », an initiation Opera in 2 acts to show the supernatural strength that can have, a person who follows the sacred path, a couple united by a true love in which the woman is the equal of the man.
Verdi’s operas had a positive influence on the reunification of Italy in the middle of the 19th century.

I believe in Peace on Earth.
I believe it is possible to initiate it in one generation thanks to the Magic of Art because:

It will be an opera in 4 acts, with a musical overture only, and a finale that will unite everyone together thanks to the creativity.
It will not be dramatic but initiatory.
It will follow the stages of personal development, such as the one described by Jean Proulx in the Divine Choreography (excerpt below), so that a Fraternal humanity will be born under the eyes of the spectators.
Our universe is a work that unfolds like the creation of a painting;
it is a movement of clarification, like the back and forth of a dialogue;
it is a continuous whole, like music;
it is an impulse of growth, like the seed which becomes the tree.

“Unlimited Symphony” is a piece that I wrote together with John Haywood in Mallorca over the summer of 2015. Sitting in my living room watching the beautiful sunset, we got inspired to capture the moment in music. Having so many “high energy” pieces on this record, it felt necessary to tone it down here and there -life is all about the balance, and so is an album. You need the cold to appreciate the warmth; you need the noise to love the silence etc. So of course this album also needed a heart and a soul to work in its entire form.

Assis dans mon salon à regarder le magnifique coucher de soleil, nous avons été inspirés pour capturer le moment en musique. Ayant tant de morceaux « à haute énergie » sur ce disque, il a été nécessaire de l’atténuer ici et là -la vie est une question d’équilibre, tout comme un album. Vous avez besoin du froid pour apprécier la chaleur ; vous avez besoin du bruit pour aimer le silence etc. Alors bien sûr, cet album avait aussi besoin d’un cœur et d’une âme pour travailler dans sa forme entière.

Écrire pour faire connaitre la sensibilité humaine et la créativité qui nous différencie des animaux et fait de nous des êtres humains.

Nous sommes l’Univers Cosmique intriqué à l’Univers.
Suite à un spectacle de P. Dupoyet sur Louis Braille, j’ai appris à écrire et lire les textes en braille.
Quand je lirai avec les doigts, j’apprendrais le braille musical.
Pour aider mon apprentissage, je cherche des correspondances en braille, des petites traductions à réaliser.

« Comédienne-globe-trotteuse », je parcours le monde avec pour seul bagage des mots et des émotions, considérant que les artistes sont des « veilleurs » et des « éveilleurs » et que l’Art est une passerelle tendue au-dessus des hommes pour projeter dans leurs regards des gerbes d’étoiles….,
